JCFT UPDATE MARCH 2025
Moving forward into 2025 we are delighted to update you on some changes to the Management Group of the JCFT.
In November 2024 the Directors agreed the development of an Advisory Board and at that time we were delighted that Jonathan Patchick -J.P , Averill Erderley- Morris and Ray Cook accepted that role. The Advisory board is a group of voluntary individuals who offer advice to the Management Team of the Jewish community Foundation Trust (J.C.F.T.) by: -
• Providing expertise: Advisory board members can provide expertise and oversight and help fill knowledge gaps.
• Supporting goals: They can help support the goals and objectives of the Jewish Community Foundation Trust (J.C.F.T.).
• Mentoring: They can act as a mentoring body, using their skills to provide guidance.
• Providing unbiased insights: They can provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view.
• Advisory board members are not legally responsible for the organisation's actions and are not required to adhere to fiduciary duties.
They are appointed by agreement from minimum of two Directors.
In January due to long term illness, we were saddened to accept the resignation of a Director Hedva Abel . We wish her good health in the future. Following on from this in January 2025 it was agreed to appoint two new Directors to join Susan Isaacs and Richard Graham Gordon, and we were delighted that Beverley Davies and Alex Klein accepted the invitation.
This now extended team have met in February and future meetings are in the diary. Working together we are confident that we will continue developing projects for the benefit of the community in which we live.
Thank you all for your support
Susan Isaacs
